Meet Our Founder
Oğuz Değirmenci, the founder of Boardee LLC and Boardee Sports, immersed himself deeply in the world of volleyball and beach volleyball during his impressive seven years in the United States. During this time, Oğuz played, coached, and organized numerous volleyball and beach volleyball events, solidifying his expertise and passion for the sport. His dedication to sharing knowledge culminated in the publication of All Aspects of Beach Volleyball, the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide for players, coaches, and enthusiasts.
Beyond his achievements in the U.S., Oğuz Değirmenci’s career spans over 12 years of international experience as a Technical Supervisor for FIVB and CEV events and as a member of the Beach & Snow Volleyball Commission. His role in Turkish Beach Volleyball Management took him around the globe, enabling him to organize and oversee top-level tournaments.
